LIMITS


Of all the people that I meet
There must be someone to whom
I must have talked to for the last time

Of all the roads I walked
There must be some road
I must have walked the last time

I am the pawn of that someone
Someone who fixed these omnipotent laws
And wove shadows and secrets, dreams and sorrows
Into this material called life

Everything has a measure, a limit
All things big and small
Everything has a timeline, a period
All relationships thick and thin
Everything has a destination, an end
All beings living and non living

Nothing is permanent
and that includes you and I
